As Mel Sherratt, I write dark fiction with an emotional pull - police procedurals, psychological suspense, and crime dramas. My books are mostly ‘whydunnits’, where I explore the criminal mind, as well as the cause and effect on the victims and their families.
I have also written six book as Marcie Steele. They feature such topics as starting over, second chance romance, acceptance, families, friendship, and finding love at all ages.
Light or dark, to date, I’ve sold over two million books and I still love my career. I live in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, with my husband and terrier, Dexter.
