These are my favourite podcasts about being a writer - whatever stage you are at in your career, these podcasts will give you inspiration, ideas and support.

Follow the podcasts on social media
Engage with them
Subscribe to the podcast and listen to it regularly
Get familiar with what the podcasts includes editorially
Contact them, introduce yourself and tell them what you specifically could offer them that would make an interesting episode (you could consider sending a press release too)
Use the presenter’s and podcast’s name in your email
DO NOT send them a templated email with no reference to their podcast
