An opportunity for aspiring authors
I’m hoping if you are reading this you know that I only very occasionally endorse start-ups. I take my responsibility to authors very seriously, so only offer advice and recommend resources if I am confident that you’ll get really positive outcomes, and importantly NOT get ripped off.
Over the last few months, I’ve been chatting with the founder of a new platform called Libraro, which I am really hoping is going to offer aspiring authors, in particular, a way to put their words in front of agents and publishers, without going through the torturous submission process. (You’ll also attract some early readers - more of that later).
The platform has been designed so you can upload chapters or a full manuscript which can then be read by book-lovers, other authors but importantly agents and publishers - these relationships have already been built, so it’s not based on just hoping they show up. I know this part of a lot of authors’ careers can be very slow and painful, so I’m happy to see anything that speeds up this process, and helps authors move forward.
They are looking for submissions across genres—romance, fantasy, crime, thriller, historical fiction, sci-fi, mystery, contemporary fiction, young adult, and adventure, and any unique crossovers too.

The founder has assured me that the platform will protect your IP and also won’t be fed into any AI machines. Again, something you know I am really passionate about.

Do you like the sound of Libraro so far? Would you like to be one of my 100 launch authors? I hope so.
The upside of getting on the platform early will be your work will naturally be seen first and more often as the platform grows, by readers AND agents and publishers. Genuinely, if I can help you get a book deal through Libraro, I will be VERY happy indeed.
If you’d like to be one of my 100 launch authors, you’ll also be able to upload your first book for free (saving you £11.90). So, absolutely no financial risk at all.
This is what you’ll need to do:
Register and upload a chapter or two of a manuscript (don’t worry you can upload a newer version when you want to) or you can put your full manuscript up straightaway.
Provide some feedback and any questions you have along the way - anything that helps them to shape Libraro into a really valuable and well-loved site
Go for it: register https://www.libraro.com/homepage/ and use Promotion code: EmpAuth25 when you upload a chapter or manuscript (to get one book for FREE).
If you have any questions along the way, please email me: sam@theempoweredauthor.com
